Julia J. Gibbs has been teaching the Bible for more than twenty years. First, as a daughter and then as a spouse of a soldier, Julia has moved 24 times nationally and internationally. She is the author of the Simulacrum Series; an allegorical, biblical, four book, fantasy-fiction series which seeks to examine and comprehend Scripture.
Most recently Julia published, The Prophecy of Ruth, a Bible Study which seeks to understand the beautiful plan of God in the story of Ruth, Naomi, and Boaz. Julia writes and teaches through books of the Bible. She is a home-school teacher, mother and wife, who holds degrees in Philosophy and Psychology with a M.S. in Counseling Psychology. Currently, she is counseling through Emet Counseling in Spanish Fort, Alabama. After serving more than 20 years in the military her husband has recently retired to fly with Delta. What to expect.
This will truly be a RETREAT at beautiful Camp Victory in Samson, AL! Leave the cares of the world behind and spend time diving into sound Bible teaching and Christ-focused worship with your sisters, daughters, and friends. You will have the opportunity to meet new people as well! We will have dinner and a time of worship and teaching on Friday night, and Saturday will include a full breakfast and lunch, as we spend time together around God's Word and in worship until mid-afternoon. Then you can stay and enjoy the camp the remainder of the day, if you wish. Oh, and you can pickup your 2024 Grace Collective t-shirt at check-in, which is included with your ticket!
While the schedule is still in draft mode, the basic plan is as follows:
Friday night - check-in beginning at 4:00, followed by dinner & main session
Saturday - breakfast, followed by main session, small group session, then lunch and final main session
We will wrap up no later than 3:00 pm.

When to arrive.
CHECK-IN will be at 4:00-5:30 pm on Friday night. We will welcome you with a goodie bag, cabin assignment, and you can get settled in your room. Dinner will begin at 6:00 pm, and our first session will begin at 7:00.
What to bring.
Sleeping bag or linens for bunk bed. Pillow. Towels and washcloth. Bible. Personal items. Comfortable clothing and shoes. And whatever else you want to pack - except any of the obvious NO-NO's like weapons, tobacco, alcoholic beverages, drugs...you get the idea!
What to watch for.
When you register, you will receive your tickets immediately via email. We will have your information on file, so you do not need to bring your tickets necessarily. The Grace Collective team will send you a "Know Before You Go" email a few days before the event reminding you of what to bring and more details of what to expect.
